Log Haven, long synonymous with wildflowers, waterfalls and fine canyon dining, is located in a historic log mansion in the Wasatch National Forest, just 20 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. Established in 1994 by Margo Provost, nationally recognized Log Haven specializes in seasonal New America cuisine and romance.

place to showcase Utah’s mountain splendor – from private dining rooms to an open meadow – the views are incredible. Log Haven features 40 acres of private land (including a pristine Lake) nestled in the mountains of a nation forest, with a nationally acclaimed chef and full service event planning.
Log Haven has received high praises for event management and has hosted many notable international groups including Timex, Delta Airlines, the Parliament of Singapore, the International Olympic Committee, Margaret Thatcher, Iomega and many others. Log Haven has a wide range of spaces to suit your needs – for parties of 10 to 400.
Situated on 40 private acres in the Wasatch National Forest, Log Haven has a variety of indoor, outdoor and private dining areas to suit your needs. Each venue features incredible views of wildflowers, waterfalls and majestic pines. Warm fires in winter complete the scene.
Our Management Staff has twenty-five years of combined experience in planning events. We’re happy to help you with all the details, from room selection to menu choices. In addition, Log Haven has referral lists to guide you through the scope of your needs, from transportation to photography, floral arrangements and entertainment.

To reserve space a Minimum Expenditure Requirement (MER) is met by groups for exclusive, all evening rental of private rooms. All food, beverage, tax and service charges apply to our Minimum Expenditure Requirements (MER). Additional Usage Fees are required for select spaces.

Our seasoned event management staff with over 25 years of experience is available seven days a week to assist you in your planning details.
Custom menus with your company name and logo.
With groups of 50 or less, you may have the option of ordering entrees on the night of the event (limited menus).
We have dance floor areas, water station with freshly sliced lemons, a presentation screen and white linens for a first class appearance. Custom linen colors are available upon request.
A valet service for you and your guests, with a heated walkway for your comfort. *Valet service is dependent on size of group.
For your special evening, we offer a personal bartender (limited/full bar) and you can select from our award-winning wine list with sommelier assistance.

I wanted to thank you for all of your help in making the arrangements for our Compass Group dinner. We were greeted and taken care of graciously by Ian Campbell (General Manager) and Chris Bruin (Lead Server). Please lset them know how much I appreciated all that they did for us.
The dinner was fabulous. Everyone loved the Aleppo Peppered Angus Filet. It was superb! I loved the salad and I loved the dessert. Everything was wonderful. Please tell the chef, David Jones, that he did an excellent job. The filet was perfect, the presentation was great and he deserves a round of applause for getting 60 meals done on time and grilled to perfection.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire and enjoying the music in a beautiful rustic cabin.It was a memorable experience for us.

I've coordinated dinners that involed this group and members there of for several years now - this is the first time that I've received an overwhelming 'thumbs up' on a dinner for: service, food (the big one), ambiance and setting. I look forward to placing this group with Log Haven again! As an aside, I called the day of the event to advise that our company president would be dining with us and appreciated the reception of our last minute heads up. As an event planner, I had to partner with providers that make me look good and have a 'can do' attitude. All of which you have and did - thank you!
